Margot Balboni has worked as a fine art photographer for twenty-five years both on assignment and on independent projects. She has flown in a helicopter back and forth across the United States photographing the complex intersection of the man made and the natural. This work culminated in the traveling exhibition THE AMERICAN MADE ALPHABET that was reviewed in the New York Times. Closer to home, Margot spent fifteen years flying over the city and crawling through the tunnels of the BIG DIG documenting the transformation of Boston. Always drawn to the bird’s eye view her recent rooftop views of the Boston use light and an unusual vantage point to reveal a vibrant city. Margot’s photographs have been exhibited nationally and are in many private and public collections.
